OUR PROGRAMMES & CURRICULUM
Our curriculum is built on the "Scaffolding" principle: providing the right support at the right time, then gradually stepping back as the child gains mastery.

PLAYGROUP (AGE: 2 – 3 YEARS)
Theme: "Discovering My World"
At this stage, the focus is almost entirely on social-emotional development and sensory exploration.
- Sensory Play: Using sand, water, and messy play to develop fine motor skills and tactile awareness.
- Language Immersion: Storytelling with puppets, nursery rhymes, and vocabulary building through object identification.
- Social Skills: Learning the basics of parallel play (playing near others) and transitioning to cooperative play (sharing).
- Physical Milestones: Focus on gross motor skills like jumping, balancing, and throwing.
NURSERY (AGE: 3 – 4 YEARS)
Theme: "The Joy of Learning"
This year introduces structured routine while maintaining a heavy emphasis on play.
- Pre-Literacy: Introduction to Phonics (Level 1)—recognizing letter sounds through songs and actions.
- Pre-Numeracy: Concept of shapes, sizes, colors, and counting up to 10 using physical manipulatives (blocks/beads).
- Creative Expression: Daily art sessions involving finger painting, clay molding, and scribble-to-script activities.
- Independence: Self-help skills such as tidying up toys, hand washing, and opening lunchboxes.

LOWER KINDERGARTEN/ LKG (AGE: 4 – 5 YEARS)
Theme: "The Curious Explorer"
Here, we transition from "learning to play" to "playing to learn." The curriculum becomes more academic but remains hands-on.
- Literacy: Phonics (Level 2)—blending sounds to read two and three-letter words. Introduction to tracing and writing letters.
- Mathematics: Number recognition (1–50), the concept of more or less, and basic addition through storytelling.
- Environmental Science (EVS): Weekly themes such as "The Life Cycle of a Butterfly" or "Our Community Helpers."
- Logic & Reasoning: Simple puzzles, sorting by multiple attributes, and basic coding logic through floor games.
UPPER KINDERGARTEN/ UKG (AGE: 5 – 6 YEARS)
Theme: "Ready for the World"
This is the bridge to primary school. We focus on academic readiness and self-regulation.
- Advanced Literacy: Writing short sentences, reading simple storybooks, and Show and Tell to build public speaking confidence.
- Numerical Proficiency: Skip counting, simple subtraction, understanding time (the clock), and basic measurement.
- STEM Projects: Hands-on science experiments (e.g., "Sink or Float," "Plant Growth") to foster critical thinking.
- Emotional Intelligence: Conflict resolution, empathy workshops, and learning to follow complex multi-step instructions.
